1. Who we are and who can use Watchible
Watchible, Inc. (“Watchible,” “we,” or “us”) provides tools for discovering movies and TV, organizing what you watch, and connecting with other people around entertainment. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Community Guidelines.
You must be at least 16 years old to have a Watchible account, and your use must be permitted by the laws that apply to you. Provide accurate account information, keep your contact email current, and do not impersonate another person or organization. A username or display name does not need to be your legal name.
Some features, membership options, and regions may be unavailable or in testing. A description of a planned feature is not a promise of a particular launch date. The features and purchase terms presented to you in the app describe what is currently offered to you.
2. Your account and responsible use
Take reasonable steps to protect your credentials and devices. Do not share access in a way that compromises your account or someone else’s information. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
You must not use Watchible to:
- Break the law, infringe someone’s rights, or distribute content you do not have permission to share.
- Harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, or expose another person’s private information.
- Send spam, distribute malicious software, interfere with the service, or bypass security and access controls.
- Evade a suspension, manipulate activity, or misuse automated access to disrupt the service or other users.
Use the reporting and blocking tools where available, or contact us about a safety concern. Watchible is not an emergency service. Contact local emergency services if someone is in immediate danger.
3. Content you share
You retain your rights in content you submit, such as Takes, replies, messages, profile text, and uploaded images. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to share that content and for respecting other people’s privacy.
To provide the service, you give Watchible a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit, and display your content, and to allow our service providers to do so on our behalf. This permission is limited to operating and providing Watchible, carrying out the sharing you choose, and applying our safety and content policies. It does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
We use and share personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. The content permission above is subject to those practices, including the visibility of your content and our deletion and retention practices. Other people may retain copies of content you have shared with them.
We may review, restrict, or remove content that violates these terms, our Community Guidelines, or the law. We do not promise that every item will be reviewed before it appears or that user content is accurate.
4. Recommendations, AI, and streaming information
Recommendations, AI-assisted search, taste matches, and streaming plans are discovery tools. Their results can be incomplete, mistaken, or unsuitable for you. They are not guarantees that you will enjoy a title, that a service will carry it, or that a suggested plan will save you money. Do not enter passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information into AI prompts.
Catalogs, prices, access tiers, and availability change and may differ by location, device, subscription, and date. Verify the current offer with the streaming provider before subscribing, renting, buying, or changing a plan. Notifications may be delayed or unavailable.
Watchible does not provide the streaming subscriptions listed in the app. Where Streaming Plan is available, marking a service as kept, paused, or added records your choice in Watchible; it does not purchase, cancel, or change a subscription with that provider. You must make those changes directly with the provider or the store that bills you.
AI credits and monthly allowances
At launch, Watchibilian includes 10 AI credits per month and Watchibilian+ includes 100. One allowance is shared by Ask AI searches and descriptions applied in Vibe Blend. Review the allowance and features offered to you in the app before purchasing a membership.
- A Standard or Shortlist search uses 1 credit; a Deep search, including its automatic deeper continuation, uses 2 credits.
- A follow-up search or separately requested Search deeper uses 1 additional credit.
- Applying a description in Vibe Blend uses 1 credit.
- Searching by title or person, choosing vibes, swiping, browsing existing results, and sending an already applied Blend do not use AI credits.
The app shows the cost and your remaining credits before you begin. Allowances refill on the first day of each calendar month in UTC, including for memberships billed annually. Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.
5. Paid memberships and App Store purchases
If paid memberships are offered to you, review the features, billing period, price, and any introductory terms shown before purchase. App Store checkout displays the applicable localized price. Planned prices shown elsewhere are not a charge or a completed purchase.
- Billing and renewal. An auto-renewing membership purchased through Apple is billed to your Apple account and renews for the selected period until you cancel. Apple’s purchase confirmation and subscription settings show the price and renewal details. Any trial or introductory offer is governed by the terms shown when you accept it.
- Changes and cancellation. Use Apple’s subscription settings to manage or cancel an Apple-billed membership and follow the deadline shown there. If a trial is offered, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends if you do not want it to renew. Apple confirms when upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations take effect.
- Refunds. You can request a refund from Apple for an Apple-billed purchase. Eligibility depends on Apple’s process and applicable law; we do not guarantee approval or exclude any refund rights you have under law.
- Account deletion. Deleting the app or your Watchible account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it separately to stop future renewal charges. You may still request account deletion immediately.
A Watchible membership pays for the Watchible features offered with that membership. It does not include subscriptions, rentals, or purchases from third-party streaming services. If paid features are materially changed or discontinued during a paid period, your rights under the purchase terms and applicable law remain in place.
6. App licensing and third-party services
We give you limited, nonexclusive permission to use Watchible as intended and in accordance with these terms. Watchible’s software, branding, and original materials remain the property of Watchible or their respective owners. Third-party catalog artwork, trailers, logos, and other materials remain subject to their owners’ rights. Open-source components retain their own licenses.
An app downloaded through Apple’s App Store is also subject to the license supplied with the app. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies when no custom license is supplied through the App Store. These service terms do not replace that app license.
Watchible uses YouTube API Services for trailer features. By using those features, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. YouTube and Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy and our Privacy Policy.
Third-party sites and services have their own terms, prices, and privacy practices. A link or service logo does not imply an endorsement or affiliation. Read our Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure for information about sponsored placements and commercial links.
7. Privacy and account deletion
Our Privacy Policy explains the information we collect, how we use and share it, retention, and your choices. It is the full description of our privacy practices. Accepting these terms does not replace a separate consent where one is required.
You may stop using Watchible and request deletion through the account controls described on our Account Deletion page. Some information may remain for the purposes explained in the Privacy Policy, including legal and security obligations. Remember to manage any Apple subscription separately.
8. Community rules and enforcement
Our Community Guidelines explain the conduct allowed on Watchible and how to report and block abuse. They apply to social features, messages, profile content, and other contributions.
We may restrict content or suspend or close an account to address a violation, security risk, abuse, or legal obligation. Where appropriate, we may act without advance notice to protect people or the service. Contact us if you believe an action was a mistake. Any action remains subject to applicable law and does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Copyright and other legal reports
For suspected copyright infringement, see our Copyright and DMCA page for notice and counter-notice information. For other legal or safety concerns, use our Contact page. Only submit reports you reasonably believe are accurate.
10. Service availability and your legal rights
We work to keep Watchible useful and reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, perfect security, error-free results, or compatibility with every device. Maintenance, technical faults, and changes to third-party services can affect availability. We may update features and will provide notice of material changes when reasonably possible.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer guarantees, remedies, or liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. These terms do not require you to give up mandatory protections available where you live.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as Watchible develops. The date at the top identifies the current version. For material changes, we will provide notice through an appropriate channel, such as the app or email, and seek agreement where required by law. Changes apply from the effective date stated in the notice; they do not retroactively remove rights you already have.
