Make room for different opinions
Strong criticism of a film, performance, idea, or institution is welcome. Ordinary profanity, good-faith quotation, educational discussion, and counterspeech are not violations on their own. Context matters.
Be considerate about spoilers and the audience for your posts. A title discussion can contain spoilers; do not assume a conversation is limited to episodes you have watched.
What is not allowed
- Threats, targeted harassment, or encouragement of violence or self-harm.
- Hateful attacks on people based on protected characteristics, including race, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.
- Sharing someone’s private information without permission, impersonation, scams, or deceptive attempts to obtain account access.
- Spam, repeated unwanted promotion, or attempts to evade blocks or enforcement.
- Pornographic uploads, nonconsensual intimate images, sexual exploitation, content that endangers children, or other unlawful content.
- Posting material that infringes another person’s copyright or other rights.
Discussion of sexual themes or fictional violence in movies and television is not, by itself, a violation. These rules apply to the content you share, not just the subjects of the films you discuss.
Report a concern
Use the report and block controls available in the app. Choose the reason that best matches the issue and add enough context to help identify it. You can also email admin@watchible.app with the relevant account or content details.
For copyright claims or a dispute about a copyright removal, use the copyright reporting instructions. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services; Watchible is not an emergency service.
Enforcement and questions
Depending on the circumstances, Watchible may restrict content, remove it, limit account features, suspend access, or terminate an account. Reports and context inform these decisions; a report does not guarantee a particular outcome.
If you believe an action was a mistake, email admin@watchible.app with the affected account or content and why you disagree. Do not create another account to evade an account restriction.
